Duke Cannon always uses the right tool for the job. Like this no-fuss texture putty that goes in easy and gives his hair a casual, yet respectable "no product" look with touchable, all-day hold.

Dry Hold Texture Putty

"This product is not what I was hoping for. I found it difficult to distribute for my thick straight hair. (4-5 in. Length) I think this product would be excellent for shorter length hair. Definitely a medium hold, doesn’t create a “crunch” that some other products create. It made my medium length hair appear greasy, was hoping for a more matte appearance. I will say I am an amateur with this type of hair product, so take my review with a grain of salt."

Great for styling without crust

"Really like this hair putty. It allows me to style my hair and stay their relatively well all day without making it crusty and hard. And throughout the day I can adjust as needed. The smell is good, but the previous version of this medium hold product smelled better IMO, it was more of a vanilla pipe tobacco smell versus this current one is a little more fruity. Good just not my favorite. But again performance wise it's awesome."

Simply the Best Styling Product on the Market!

"I've tried a lot of styling products over the years—including some "premium" brands that cost over $40 a jar—and I keep coming back to Duke Cannon's Texture Putty. For me, it's simply the best styling product on the market. The medium hold is just about perfect. It gives my hair enough control to stay in place while still allowing for a natural, textured look instead of the stiff, over-styled appearance that stronger products can create. The matte finish is another huge plus. No shine, no greasy look—just clean, effortless texture. It's also incredibly easy to work with. A small amount goes a long way, so one jar lasts much longer than you'd expect. Considering it's roughly a third of the price of many salon brands I've tried, the value is honestly hard to beat. My only minor criticism is the scent. It's pleasant enough and certainly not something that would keep me from buying it again, but I think Duke Cannon is missing a huge opportunity by not offering their hair styling products in the signature scents they're already known for. I'd buy these in a heartbeat if they came in Sawtooth, Buck Moon, High Country, Superior, Deep Space, Midway, Bourbon, or Midnight Swim. Overall, this has become my daily go-to. Great performance, excellent value, and a natural finish that's hard to find anywhere else. 5/5."

Perfect Hold Without the Crunch!

"I’ve tried a lot of hair products over the years, but this has become my absolute go-to. It gives my hair the perfect amount of hold and texture without feeling stiff, greasy, or heavy. I can run my fingers through my hair throughout the day and it still keeps its shape. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts a long time, and it has a clean, subtle scent that isn’t overpowering."
