Excellent Spring/Summer Scent

"I’ve really enjoyed Duke Cannon’s Tropic Drift bar soap overall. It’s a genuinely fresh, tropical scent that immediately brings to mind beach vacations, sunscreen, piña coladas, ocean air, and sunshine. It feels clean and upbeat without going overly sweet. It does a really nice job walking that fine line of being tropical/beachy without being overly feminine. There’s still a nice masculine energy within its profile. That said, I do think the scent comes across better in the body wash version than in the bar soap itself. The body wash smells much smoother and more accurate to the tropical vibe they were aiming for. With the bar, there’s a slight “after-smell” underneath the main scent that I can’t quite place, but it keeps it from smelling quite as polished as the body wash. Even with that small drawback, it’s still an excellent seasonal soap and one of the better warm-weather offerings from Duke Cannon. I’d personally rank Midway and Bay Rum above it overall when ranking their tropical options, but Tropic Drift absolutely earns a spot in the rotation if you want something bright, fresh, and clean for spring and summer."
