Good soap with a good scent

"Decent soap like all DC stuff I've had. The scent is definitely that of a combination of tobacco leaf and leather. To me though, if you're wanting more of a tobacco-like smell, I think the Buffalo Trace Bourbon soap smells more strongly of that (though could be my nose being my nose. . . ). Still, somewhat strong scent that reminds me of what I imagine the Wild West to smell like."

Five Stars Isn’t Enough! 🇺🇸

"Old Glory is, without question, the most divisive scent in Duke Cannon history. Between the body wash and bar soap it has more five-star reviews than just about anything they’ve ever released… and the most one-star reviews. Like Babe Ruth with home runs and strikeouts, there doesn’t seem to be much middle ground. You either love Old Glory… or you’re wrong. To me, this is the most masculine, mature, sophisticated, and original fragrance not only in the Duke Cannon lineup, but anywhere in the men’s grooming world. It doesn’t smell like another generic “fresh”, “aquatic”, or “woodsy” scent. It smells like American pride, late-summer evenings giving way to early fall, dusty back roads, earned confidence, and the kind of fortune that only comes from being bold. I’ve always hoped Duke Cannon would expand Old Glory into a complete lineup with a proper cologne, deodorant, and shampoo. Sadly, it looks like the opposite may be happening. It feels like Old Glory is quietly marching toward retirement. If that’s true, I believe it’s a mistake. The problem was never the scent. Duke Cannon simply stopped flying this flag as proudly and boldly as it deserved. You can’t expect new fans to discover a masterpiece if you hide it in the armory. Once Old Glory is gone, they’ll never truly recreate its spirit. Some scents smell good. Some smell great. A select few become legends. Old Glory is, and always will be, a legend. At ease, good soldier. 🇺🇸"
