Rated 5 out of 5 by Swifty from Worthy of Writing a Review I NEVER write reviews for products ever. Usually because i just dont have time or just dont really feel the need to but since this is a new product and this is the first review for this, i"ll do it. This scent is something Ive been searching for, for a very long time. As it says in the description it has a scent that reminds me of the barbershop, the smell of a fresh straight razor on the neck and the aftershave that's lathered on after. Its a fresh, clean smell that can be perfect for every day/work wear. Not too potent as some of the others like Seneca which to me is more of an evening/night out scent. If you want to go ahead and make thi more of a date/night out scent, i believe that layering this with the oakmoss and vetiver solid cologne would be a perfect combo. For those that are skeptical and want a comparison, to me this reminds me of a toned down, not as sweet smelling Lacoste Green scent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kendal from Nostalgia is Right The description of this is oddly on point when it says "nostalgic". I personally find the scent weirdly familiar and soothing as strange as that may sound. The key notes are well balanced and it is not over powering the way that some other brands can be. I was initially worried that the oakmoss would be a little too potent but all the aspects of the fragrance complement each other perfectly. At the end of the day, I love this cologne (as do a nimber of my coworkers now) and will definitely reorder it when I start to run low.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aldeee from Like a early morning mountain ride on your Harley. The fragrance is a sort of hybrid between the citrusy, mellow sweetness of Prescott and the ever-masculine, yet never overpowering scent of Randolph...but much fresher in my opinion. Upon first spritz, the leather scent profile takes a backseat to the Oakmoss and Mandarin, which to me is as close as you will get to the popular Bay Rum and the more classic Barborshop aromas. This cologne welcomes the arrival of Spring, and the evergreen-colored packaging looks great alongside the rest of the Proper Cologne line-up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mountainman0522 from Clean and Simple! The Duke Cannon colognes are all pretty straightforward in that they don’t change/develop much throughout the drydown and lifecycle of the fragrance, but that’s not a bad thing! I have plenty of those kinds already, so the Duke Cannons are a nice change of pace when you want a solid outdoorsy scent without churching things up too much. Lincoln might be my favorite so far. It’s heavy on the oak moss, but soft and clean. Definitely a good one for spring and summer. You can’t beat the price either!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Deezy909 from Awesome addition! So far I’ve had this cologne for about a week. This is a very welcome addition to the scent camps. The scent is hard to describe but very masculine yet fresh. You can definitely get that marine green profile and it’s a very welcome addition to my collection of Duke Cannon products! The scent is natural, yet lasts throughout the day. I find with the proper colognes it’s hard to overdo them. They will last a full day without telling everyone within a 5 mile radius. Keep it up Duke!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PatrickTK021 from Lincoln Is My New Lacoste A very unique scent- I'm glad I gave it a shot and I think I've found my new regular. Another reviewer compared it to the Lacoste Essential, and I would certainly agree with that, though it's a bit more masculine smelling. The barber shop references also check out- it's a very clean aroma that will make an impression but not be too overbearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeepster from Lincoln-proper cologne It’s a great scent, there’s a citrus note to it, but it holds up well all day with a couple of small spritzes. Listen, anyone who uses Duke Cannon smells darn fine, and Lincoln doesn’t screw up that equation. It pairs really well with a little dab of the Dark Water solid cologne. All in all, it’s another winner in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisR from A bit old man-ish but good and unique Smells a bit old man-ish at first but then I started to like it. It’s most similar to Randolph but with a fresher profile. It’s become one of my top spray colognes. For reference I’ve tried Sawtooth, Prescott, Huron, and Randolph too. This isn’t better than Sawtooth but as good or better than all the others.
