Your dad never talked to you about hairstyling, but be damn sure he used a decent pomade. After all, a man’s hair is a weapon and no hair commands more respect than that of a News Anchor.

Duke Cannon’s News Anchor Pomade works on all hair types, delivering a natural matte finish to provide a classic, camera-ready look. Offers a medium-to-strong hold and a protein blend that strengthens and repairs your hard-working crown.

Features the light scent of classic sandalwood with a hint of citrus.

Prepare your hair for award-winning, 'round the clock coverage with Duke Cannon’s News Anchor Pomade.

Key benefits:

  • Medium to strong hold
  • Natural feel (not crusty)
  • Matte finish (low shine)
  • Protein blend for strength
  • Water based to rinse out easily in the shower

A 4.6 oz jar will last a long time.

Barbershop Pro-tip: Apply a small amount throughout towel-dried hair to achieve desired level of thickness. Most barbers recommend starting at the roots and working your way to the top to achieve thicker, fuller, News Anchor-like hair.

Size: 4.6 oz.

INGREDIENTS: Water (Aqua), Ceteareth-25, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Propylene Glycol, PEG-25 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Laurdimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Barley Protein, Orange Blossom Sandalwood Fragrance (Parfum), Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As described. Have been using styling creme for a long while--longish hair, shampoo daily, light hold that dries quickly, using fingers or light brushing to "style". Tried this pomade looking for a bit more hold, but hoping to keep a light matte finish and easy wash out. This did a pretty good job. Still trying to determine the right amount to use and it seems easier to control if my hair is a little damp and/or I wet my fingers first before applying. Very light scent and it keeps the longer hair in place without looking slicked back--more natural in other words. Not sure if I would use every day, but satisfied with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pomade I've gone through a lot different pomades trying to find one capable of holding my thick hair in place that doesn't leave it feeling crusty or brittle. This Duke Cannon pomade is one of the best, if not the best, that I've found so far. The only other pomade I've found of comparable quality costs about twice as much for half the product, so I'll probably be sticking with DC from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new go to hair product I was unsure the first few times I used it but I now consider this my go to hair styling product. I really like that if I use a little I get a very minimal look (messy or out for the afternoon look) or if I use more I can style it using a comb for a more put together style. The smell is subtle but appreciated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hair product ever I got this for my husband to try since I know he likes using hair gels. He has a cowlick that always sticks up with the hair gel, but once he tried this pomade, the cowlick is no more! He refuses to use anything but this for his hair now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect, just what I wanted This stuff is perfect. Cheaper than the American Crew and in a bigger tub. Hold stiff but still soft, doesn’t leave build up, and smells good. It even has a pleasing sound when you tap on the container

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holds Good, Smells Good. This pomade has good hold and a good scent. I have to add it in small increments rather than all at once or it tends to distribute unevenly in my hair. I usually use Paul Mitchell forming cream, and I'm probably going to stick with that until I try the fiber pomade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean feel, great hold I was scouring the internet for the best Pomade and ordered a bunch; they all fell flat. I grabbed this stuff just because I was ordering bar soap. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product. Look no further, this s#!* is the best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad, but not what I was hoping for. This pomade is just OK. I have fine hair (not thinning, just prone to fly-away) and this stuff just doesn't hold as well as some other products I've used. Seems to leave just a little bit of greasy feel. Washes out easily
