"Bought this gift card for my F-I-L for his birthday, he's retired military and really likes the scents and the cause. However, after placing his order and spending extra to get the free cologne via promotion, Duke Cannon customer service has left such a horrible taste in his mouth that he will never use their products again. After his order was placed and an estimated delivery date was provided, his order got stuck in limbo with a status similar to 'awaiting carrier pickup' for several days. My M-I-L reached out to DC to figure out what was happening, where she was advised that the set he ordered was out of stock. Rather than contact him, they just held onto the order. It was only then that they said he could pick a different scent, or wait until the scent was back in stock. He opted to pick a different scent to get his order shipped. Once his order arrived, about 2 weeks after his order was placed initially, he realized that the cologne was missing. So they called customer service again and learned that, despite the website automatically adding the free cologne to his cart and allowing him to choose a scent, the free cologne was not an option because he used a coupon code on the order. How does that make any sense at all? It was literally an automatic option and all he was told was 'sorry for the inconvenience'. He only spent the extra money to get the free gift promised and the company couldn't even make it right. We definitely won't be recommending Duke Cannon to anyone and neither will they."
"I thought the gift card would be sent to the recipient, but it came to me...the purchaser. So, I had to forward the gift card info. to the recipient...so, it wasn't really a surprise. Originally, I ordered an ammo. box set and wanted it sent to the recipient as a suprise gift, but you were unable to do that without having my name on it."
