Smells great, feels great, but hair is left dry

"I really love the smell, and the way my hair tingles, etc. . It definitely gets the job done, leaving very clean, fresh smelling hair. However, I have found after using it for a week that my hair (male with short hair) is very dry, and even when I put my hair gel in my hair doesn't want to cooperate. I had a spare bottle of a different brand of condition that I started putting in after I wash with this, and now my hair is back to it's original texture. Great product, just saying the conditioner is definitely lacking."
